Romanza Interior Design selected for new Clara model in Cabreo at Mediterra
The new Clara villa model in Mediterra’s Garden Neighborhood will feature interior design by Michael Scott of Romanza Interior Design, who has selected light-finished furniture, modern lighting fixtures and soft green backgrounds with accents of gray, green and ivory.
London Bay Homes is building the three-bedroom Clara as an encore for a similar model that sold shortly after its completion in spring 2014. Located in Cabreo, a neighborhood of luxury maintenance-free villa homes overlooking lakes and nature preserves, the model is expected to be completed in July.
With 3,248 square feet of interior living, the Clara is the largest of the three floor plans in Cabreo at Mediterra, Naples’ premier golf and beach club community. The home design offers formal living and dining rooms, a family room, den, three full baths and a powder room.
The model is being built with an optional three-car garage and full summer kitchen. It also has a large resort-style pool and raised spa with spillover. Sliding glass doors in the living room, family room and kitchen blur the boundaries between alfresco and interior spaces, opening to a covered outdoor living room with dining and seating areas.
The summer kitchen will offer a stainless steel grill and under-counter refrigerator and a sink. The pool deck’s concrete pavers feature a coral stone pattern.
Scott has selected porcelain tile flooring for main interior living areas and brushed French oak hardwood in the den. The tile will be installed in a diagonal pattern and bordered with decorative tile around the perimeter of each room.
Coffered ceilings throughout the model will be accented with crown molding. Scott is also using moldings to create a decorative treatment on the main living room wall.
Additional finishes in the Clara will include quartz and granite countertops, painted and light-stained cabinetry and beamed ceilings in the den and dining room.
Accessories, artwork and bedding will introduce the accent grays, greens and ivories.
“The furnishings are a mix of lighter stains with a modern feel,” said Scott. “There’s also a modern approach to the decorative fixtures.”
The kitchen will feature a GE Monogram Pro range with custom stainless steel hood and additional stainless steel appliances, including an oven tower and side-by-side refrigerator-freezer. The upper level of cabinetry will have glass door fronts and interior lighting. Other finishes will include subway tile backsplashes and a freestanding island featuring a built-in banquette for casual dining.
A butler’s pantry will offer an under-counter beverage refrigerator and connect the kitchen to the dining room, which will provide seating for six.
Large windows in the master bedroom will showcase the model’s surrounding views. The suite will offer his-and-her walk-in closets and its bathroom will have a separate tiled shower with a seat, garden tub, private water closet and double vanities.
Each of the Clara’s two guest rooms will feature walk-in closets and private full baths.
The utility room will offer a front-loading washer and dryer, cabinetry and a sink.
The Clara’s Mediterranean architecture will be accented with a traditional barrel-tile roof, sage green exterior stucco and feature double-glass French entry doors with a transom above. It will have a paver driveway and entry.
The Clara base plan offers 4,743 total square feet, including a two-car garage, covered entry and lanai.
