Romanza Interior Design receives five Sand Dollar design awards

Romanza Interior Design was recognized with five coveted Sand Dollar Awards for its interior design of four model homes and a private residence during the annual gala presented by the Collier Building Industry Association’s Sales and Marketing Council.

The Naples luxury design boutique received the awards for homes priced from $2,000,001 million to $4.5 million and located in the downtown Naples area, Mediterra and Miromar Lakes Beach & Golf Club.

Awards included top design honors for the Anguilla, a private residence priced between $3,500,001 to $4 million, and the Chelston, a custom single-family model home in the $4,000,001 to $4.5 million category. Both homes are part of London Bay Homes’ Naples Collection, featuring model homes from Park Shore to Port Royal.

The three-bedroom Anguilla in Park Shore sold just 11 days after completion. Its award-winning interior design by Romanza’s Jennifer Stevens features a coastal contemporary aesthetic with driftwood accents, white tongue-and-groove ceilings and a palette of sea, sky and sand injected with touches of bright aqua, teal and citron throughout its 3,584 square feet of living space.

For the Chelston, a three-bedroom model located at 631 Broad Court in Old Naples, designer Melissa Allen created an island-inspired ambience with natural walnut wood flooring, clean-lined British Colonial accents, woven furniture and vibrant colors of rainforest citrus, teal, coral, butter and eggplant against off-white backgrounds.

Offering 4,227 square feet of living space, the Chelston also recently received a multistate Aurora Award presented by the Southeast Building Conference for best interior merchandising of a home over $2 million.

Romanza received Sand Dollar Awards for two single-family model homes in Mediterra, which was also named Community of the Year for an unprecedented 10th time. The firm was recognized for its design of the Isabella Two-Story in the $3,000,001 to $3.25 million category and the Belita in the $2,500,001 to $2.75 million price range.

Stevens’ elegant transitional interior design throughout the 4,285-square-foot Isabella Two-Story is punctuated by bold strokes of black and teal, textural and shimmering finishes, and distressed and rich amarone wood tones. Finishes include Roman vein-cut travertine flooring, faux-finished beamed and painted tongue-and-groove ceilings, custom built-in cabinetry and Venetian plaster walls. Stevens created inviting interiors in the model’s study and its second-floor bonus room as well as selected pool finishes in sea glass shades of blue, green and lavender to complement the interior décor.

The Romanza team also infused the two-story Belita’s 3,738 square feet with earth and sand tones – varying from cream and soft beige to mocha – and a subdued design palette that uses texture, dark metallics, subtle patterns and random dashes of amber, ginger and muted shades of deep red, green, ocher and orange. Stevens highlighted the single-family villa’s alfresco spaces with resort-inspired furniture to capture Florida’s sought-after outdoor lifestyle.

Another single-family villa model, the three-bedroom Benita in Miromar Lakes Beach & Golf Club received a Sand Dollar Award in the $2,000,001 to $2.25 million category. Designer Michael Scott introduced a transitional coastal design rendered in white-on-ivory backdrops with pale and full-toned coral, cobalt, crimson, lime green, tangerine and turquoise. Finishes include white shell-stone flooring throughout most of the model’s 3,100 square feet and simple tray ceilings, crown molding and white beams. The Benita is located in Portofino, London Bay Homes’ exclusive lakefront neighborhood at Miromar Lakes.
