Romanza elevates London Bay Homes’ waterfront estate in Port Royal
Inspired interiors from award-winning Romanza Interior Design will elevate a new London Bay Homes luxury custom home that showcases commanding views of Doubloon Bay in the prestigious Port Royal neighborhood.
Located at 4155 Cutlass Cove, the 6,569-square-foot estate is a London Bay Homes-led creative collaboration with Kukk Architecture & Design, Romanza Interior Design and Architectural Land Design. The home features a seamless connection between indoor and outdoor living spaces and an interior design ideal for both easy everyday living and gracious entertaining.
“Wide expanses of glass with fully retracting pocket doors showcase the cove from the great room, master suite, club room and VIP suite,” said Romanza’s Senior Design Director Jennifer Stevens. “We’ve created a clean, comfortable interior design that complements, not competes, with the home’s amazing views.”
A keyless Oikos door pivots open, greeting guests to a grand home that stylishly blends state-of-the-art automation, elegant finishes, built-ins and custom treatments in a soft contemporary design.
“We’ve introduced lots of texture throughout the interior finishes, from shiny porcelains to warm wood tones, to fabrics and wallcoverings,” said Stevens.
The rich palette takes its cues from the water and natural preserve views, employing warm neutrals and soft whites, accented with caramel, charcoal, chocolate and blues. To unite main living areas, Stevens selected a 40" x 40” tile in a natural ivory sea-worn stone finish with subtle vein variations. A custom ceiling of wood and upholstered leather graces the great room.
Kitchen appliances are integrated within quartz-topped white dove cabinets with lit glass displays. The Soho Kitchen and Design cabinetry engages the ceiling, with transom glass at the range hood and bar that brings in light and views of the sky. An island overlaid with a low-sheen rift oak waterfall-style top creates a casual dining area, while a separate bar area with dishwasher drawers serves entertaining needs both indoors and out.
Encompassing an entire wing of the first floor, the impressive master suite features 8-inch white oak floors and frameless doors that seamlessly integrate into the wall plane. An oversize, sleek wardrobe space is outfitted with Poliform, an Italian-made closet system that’s further customizable to adapt to owner’s unique needs. Leather, smoke and clear glass combine with soft champagne, textured camel, and greige finishes in drawers, shelves and stylishly lit hanging displays for clothing and accessories.
“It’s a completely functional, sophisticated and elegant space with the feel of a high-end boutique,” said Stevens.
The sumptuous master bath’s custom slab porcelain walls are paired with light blonde cabinetry with crisp white countertops and polished nickel fittings. Featuring private dual water closet areas, the bath also offers a separate makeup area and linen tower with storage. A transom-topped “U”-shaped arrangement of windows with automated sill-up shades surround the Kallista soaking tub, affording both privacy and light.
Upstairs offers a trio of guest suites served by a convenient morning bar and spacious sitting room. Custom touches abound in a club room that functions as both an office and a getaway space, boasting textured wall coverings, a bookmatched wood panel ceiling, and built ins of rift oak and birdseye maple. A custom sliding door assembly from Richlin Viva Porte elegantly partitions the club room from the sitting room space while allowing light to flood the interiors. Water views from the club room balcony span the width of the room.
The impressive VIP-scale suite also enjoys water views and a Poliform system that incorporates a desk or vanity space with charging capabilities, jewelry storage in bronze and clear mirror, and enclosed wardrobe storage.
A grand outdoor living area is the ultimate entertaining destination, with a full kitchen, pool bath and outdoor shower. The patio is enhanced with a geometrically-inspired custom pool and spa. Stevens selected a fire table as a focal point for an intimate conversation space on a separate wood deck overlooking the cove.
The home’s dock off Doubloon Bay provides direct access to Gordon Pass and the Gulf of Mexico, along with the inland estuarine waterways. With a sought-after Naples address, the Cutlass Lane custom estate is just a quick bike ride to downtown or a short walk to the beach. The home also affords membership eligibility to the renowned Port Royal Club and the exclusive Cutlass Cove Beach Club.
Offering a three-car garage with a private owner’s entrance, the fully furnished luxury home is scheduled for completion in March.
